The recording is usually saved automatically in the Photos, Gallery, or Files app, often in a folder called Screen recordings or Movies.
Some older phones or devices with heavily customized versions of Android may not include this feature. In that case, you can install a screen recording app from the Google Play Store, such as:
AZ Screen Recorder
XRecorder
Mobizen Screen Recorder
Enable Do Not Disturb before recording to avoid notifications appearing in your video.
Use landscape orientation for videos intended for YouTube or presentations.
Turn on Show taps (if available) to make tutorials easier to follow by highlighting where you're touching the screen.
Open Settings.
Go to Control Center.
Find Screen Recording and tap the + button to add it to Control Center (if it isn't already there).

Tap Start Recording.
This records your voice along with the screen.
You can stop recording by either:

Opening Control Center and tapping the Screen Recording button again.
The video is automatically saved in the Photos app under Recents and can be edited or shared from there.
Turn on Do Not Disturb or Focus mode to prevent notifications from appearing in the recording.
Rotate the device to landscape if you're creating a video for YouTube or presentations.
Make sure you have enough free storage before recording long videos.
